Handmade chocolate produced on the island, with Phu Quoc wild pepper and many unusual Vietnamese flavours. Ready boxed, easy to take home as a gift with none of the smell of dried seafood.

Good to know
The dry season, from December to April (many sources count it from November), is the best time for swimming and island tours. The rainy season runs from May to November, usually with passing showers; on days with a southwest wind, east-coast beaches near A39 such as Khem Beach and Sao Beach are usually calmer than the west coast.
Sunset is around 17:40 in November and at its latest, around 18:30, in July. To watch the sunset from the Kiss Bridge or Sunset Town, get there about 30 minutes before.
Fresh seafood is usually priced by weight: ask the price, check the weighing and agree on the total before it is cooked.
Bring cash to the market, as many stalls don't accept bank transfers yet.
